Women in the Arctic and Antarctic (WiAA) is an online-based network and information sharing initiative.

The initiative promotes the work and experiences of women doing multidisciplinary research on, or representation of the Arctic, Antarctic, and North. Through our website and our Twitter account, we routinely showcase profiles of scholars and representatives and provide opportunities to promote Polar events, research, and fieldwork experiences.
